Welcome to the PlumPMM beta
You’re one of a small group trying PlumPMM before it opens to everyone. This page is your orientation: what the beta is, what’s free while it runs, a suggested tour to get the most out of it, and how to reach us. It expands on the short FAQ you saw when you signed in.
Thanks for being here — genuinely. Early feedback shapes what ships at launch.
What the beta is
PlumPMM is in a short, invite-only beta — roughly two weeks. Access is gated: invited people get in, everyone else lands on a waitlist. If we extend the beta, we’ll email you.
The goal is simple: get the core workflow — audit → positioning → draft → compare — in front of real product marketers and founders, and fix what’s rough before general availability (GA).
Everything paid is free right now
Your account starts on the Free plan (the full product, usage-capped). During the beta you can upgrade to any paid plan at no charge:
- Checkout is a mock — a test card is pre-filled, so you never enter real card details and nothing is ever charged.
- You can switch plans up or down freely to feel out the different tiers and their limits.
- Upgrading lifts the usage caps (audit-units, projects, drafts, monitors) so you can exercise the whole product without hitting a wall.
So don’t be shy about upgrading — it’s the intended way to explore during the beta.

Take it for a spin
Not sure where to start? Here are two paths — pick whichever fits how you like to work.
The fast path — Fasttrak (~10 minutes)
If you have a live landing page (yours or a competitor’s), this is the quickest way to see what PlumPMM does end-to-end:
- On the home page, open Positioning Fasttrak (top of the page).
- Paste a public URL and let it run. It audits the live page, researches your market, builds positioning across every framework, drafts a full page (above + below the fold), and audits the draft.
- Review the before/after — how the drafted copy scores versus your live page.
You walk away with a complete project you can then refine by hand. → Fasttrak
The hands-on path — build it yourself (~30 minutes)
Prefer to go step by step? This mirrors the Getting started guide:
- Audit a page. Paste any URL on the home page to score it across 13 positioning dimensions. → Audits
- Create a project and generate Positioning — pick your ICP, generate the six statement frameworks, and let the Recommended card suggest one based on your product’s maturity. → Positioning
- Draft the page. Generate hero copy on the ATF tab and the rest on BTF — features, FAQ, proof, founder story, and more.
- Preview and compare. Render the draft, run a simulated audit, and compare it to your live page. → Preview
Worth trying while you’re in
- Research — generate a market landscape and add competitors; both feed better positioning. → Market Research · Competitive
- Add real proof. Upload a case study or paste a URL on the project’s Brief tab — the Proof section will pull real quotes and metrics from it. → BTF
- Monitors — put a live page on a weekly or monthly watch for positioning drift. → Monitors
As you go, jot down anything that confuses you, breaks, or feels missing — that’s exactly what we want to hear.
Get help & share feedback
Two channels, depending on what you need:
- Community Slack — join here. The best place for quick questions, sharing what you’re building, and product feedback. We’re active there and other beta users are too.
- Email — product@plumpmm.com for anything private (account or billing issues) or bugs you’d rather not post publicly. Want to talk it through live? Ask for a Zoom at the same address.
We read everything and will address as much as we can before GA. If something’s blocking you, reach out — we’d rather fix it than have you stuck.
What happens after the beta
When the beta ends, your account moves to the Free tier. We’ll do our best to preserve your data, but because we’re still iterating fast, we can’t guarantee it survives breaking changes — you may need to recreate your account or artifacts at launch. Nothing you did during the beta locks you in.
At GA you’ll be able to upgrade to a paid plan with a real card whenever you’re ready — no pressure, and no automatic charges from anything you did during the beta.
