How-to: Fasttrak a landing page
Fasttrak takes a public landing page URL and produces a working positioning playbook — project, draft, preview audit, live audit, and comparison narrative — in 2–3 minutes of total wall time. This walks you through one run end-to-end.
Fasttrak is on every paid plan (Solo Founder, Team, Business). If the Fasttrak nav item isn’t in your sidebar, you’re on Free — see Plans and pricing.
1. Open Fasttrak
Click Fasttrak in the left sidebar. Two ways in:
- From scratch — paste a URL into the start form
- From a page workspace — open any landing page you’ve already added, click Fasttrak this page. The page row auto-links to whatever Fasttrak produces.
Either way, you land on the start screen with a single URL field.
2. Start the run
Paste the URL and click Start Fasttrak. You’ll be charged 10 audit-units up front — that covers the live audit, the preview audit, and the LLM cost across all three phases. There’s no refund if a phase fails partway through; re-running starts fresh.
The first phase (“Context”) is synchronous and takes ~30 seconds. The flow then halts at the Review screen.
3. Review the inferred context
You’ll see:
- Brief — what Fasttrak inferred about your product from the scrape
- Two ICP candidates — different personas the page might be targeting
- Positioning for ICP #1 — UVP, statement, differentiators
This pause is deliberate. The cheapest moment to redirect is now — before the orchestrator spends 8 more audit-units on draft generation. Three things to decide:
- ICP slot — keep ICP #1 or swap to ICP #2 as the draft target
- Positioning strategy — pick the framework that fits your category (April Dunford, Geoffrey Moore, JTBD, Category Design, Outcome-First)
- Competitor context (optional) — paste a competitor URL or pick from your existing competitor list. Fasttrak audits the competitor inline and weaves the comparison into the generated draft
4. Continue
Click Continue. The remaining phases run in the background — ATF + BTF generation, preview audit on the draft, fresh live audit on the original URL, and the AI-generated compare narrative between the two. Total wall time ~60–90 seconds.
You can leave the tab; the run completes server-side and shows up in Orchestrations → Fasttrak.
5. Read the comparison
When the run finishes, the orchestration row shows a Complete badge. Click in to see:
- The new project + ICP + draft Fasttrak created
- A side-by-side comparison: live audit ratings vs. preview audit ratings on the draft, per dimension
- The narrative — “Headline appeal moved 6→9 because the new H1 names the buyer’s role explicitly” — with what to try next
Treat the draft as a v0. Edit it inside the project workspace like any manual draft, then re-audit / re-compare to verify the next round of changes.
If something fails
- Scrape failed (Phase 1) — the URL didn’t load. Different URL or fix the page.
- LLM hiccup mid-phase — the orchestration row will show which phase died. Click Retry from failed phase rather than re-running the whole thing.
- Plan downgrade mid-run — the run pauses with a “plan no longer supports Fasttrak” message. Re-upgrade and click resume.
